MenKen advocates for gender equity and equality at all levels by engaging men and boys. We ensure that men are not just part of the gender quality conversation but are also part of the solution. We also continually build the capacity of organisations, individuals and networks nationally, regionally and globally in engaging boys and men as a key component of promoting gender equality. 

Women in the Red Campaign-Nairobi County 

A program engaging men to cultivate and support women’s leadership through media to start conversations about supporting effective women leaders. In partnership with Women and Girls Lead Global (WGLG), we screen select films to men and boys on how women can make good leaders to inspire actions towards supporting wmen to become leaders. We have also contributed in the development of  local film named Ms.Politician that speaks of the struggles of Kenyan women in leadership

He for She Campaign– Nyamira and Kilifi Counties

This is a United Nations global solidarity movement for gender equality that serves as an invitation for men and people of all genders to stand in solidarity with women to create a bold, visible and united force for gender equality. In partnership with UNWOMEN, MenKen led launches of the campign in Nyamira and Kilifi counties.
